Ray Foushee, co-author of "Return to Duckburg Place," recently
showed up in comments, the gist of which is that he's kind of mortified by the story in retrospect, but that he and Don sure had a lot of fun making it, and others. Can't get much fairer than that!
He very kindly showed up on my review of the story as well to clarify, quite emphatically, what the fate of Scrooge was: that he's really most sincerely dead.
